Ministries that have assets to invest are challenged with the best way to invest these gifts for future generations. Since 1958 the LCMS Foundation has helped congregations invest scholarship funds, cemetery funds, endowments and reserve accounts in diversified portfolios of bonds and stocks of the United States and around the globe. By investing for the long-term these portfolios can potentially grow far better than low interest paying bank accounts. LCMS Ministries are investing without the typical brokerage firm focus on Wall Street’s corporate profits and commissions. The Foundation’s investment funds are designed for the way many ministries choose to diversify into a balance of asset classes.
