Partnering with the Home in Faith Formation

An exploration of mindsets and methods of partnering with families to create Family Faith Interaction in the home. Involving dads, Creating continuity with Parish ministry, redeeming the unused times in a family schedule, dealing with split households and sports practices.

Presenters: William "Bill" Prann & Lisa Mohler
William has spent his life trying to experience as much of God’s creation as possible.  He loves being outside doing everything from yard work to racing his bicycle in local and regional races.  William received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Dakota and received an NCAA All American Award on a track scholarship.  He spent eight years in Corporate Banking in the Kansas City area.  In 2001, He was named one of People Magazines “100 Most Eligible Bachelors.”  Following that experience, he stepped away from his role at the bank and returned to school to prepare to serve as a Youth Minister.  According to William, “investing in people has a much better return.”  He is now a certified Director of Christian Education with the Lutheran Church and serves as the Director of Faith Formation at Carmel Lutheran Church in Carmel, IN.  William lives in Noblesville, IN with his wife, Tricia and everyone else’s kids.

Lisa received a BA in Psychology from Taylor University.  During her time at Taylor she lead a Ministry at a local High School with Youth for Christ (YFC).  After graduating she worked in Junior High ministry with YFC and Young Life for a total of eight years.  She has been the Director of Children’s Ministry at Carmel Lutheran Church since 2003.  Lisa lives in Westfield, IN with her husband Jeff and two children Lydia (13) and Owen (8).
